    Ending with 6 well played home games and securing post season home field advantage against every other AL team would be absolutely MASSIVE (Which essentially just means playing no more than 2-3 games worse than the Mariners and Yankees. No one else can catch us)

    I think I am also in the relatively quiet group who thinks JS makes mostly good BP decisions but has guys who don't do their job too often At any given time it's been hard to know who to rely on out of the pen. They've all been pretty inconsistent and streaky.

    Ranked concerns: 1. How does Max Scherzer pitch in his last regular season start and can we trust him with a post season start 2. Does Bo make it back for the post season day 1 ........ large gap ......... 3. How does Yesavage hold up in his 3rd start and can he handle a post season start 4. Can Santander hit and do we risk a post season roster spot/DH spot or iffy OF defense to have his bat in the lineup .............. smaller gap ...... 5. JS bullpen usage 6. Jeff Hoffman ...

    Agree. We should expect the Yankees to win 4 or 5 out of their last 6 and they almost certainly win 2 or 3 from the White Sox first (who probably can't wait for the season to be over). Baltimore OTOH will actually try to be spoilers against them (they seem to get off on that). The more games we win early the less we have to worry about the last few...

    We can certainly finish them :) As of right now WC 2 and 3 are too close to call... BOS/CLE/HOU all right there. Yankees are pretty much a lock and Texas/KC are too far back

    Only 3 MLB games tomorrow and they're all NL games that are meaningless to us

    And can be optioned I suppose ..... Although they have to cut to 26 again for the post season so if Santander sticks France will also likely be gone for the ALDS.

    Presumably he gets selected and France DFA? Would be nice to play Santander 5-6 games to see how he does I'm cool with Springer in RF for a few extra games if need be or give him an extra day or two off.
