    Gibby will likely have a second starter mentally prepared to go just in case whoever starts is having a rough go I suspect most managers would do this in a one game playoff

    Hopefully we and the other WC conteders can keep pressure on Showalter to keep using all those guys over the last 6 regular season games And Girardi might not let the Yankees mail it in against them on the weekend even though they will have been eliminated

    Agreed No need to move anyone up a day but would definitely bump Sanchez back a game if you have the opportunity And we have 4 good options which is a nice position to be in. Given my total free choice I'd pick Sanchez or Happ anyway

    He had multiple "Dogg" amounts where he acted innocent and dumb probably partly on purpose just to aggravate people and get attention. He also had "Zee" accounts where he was belligerent and even argued with his own Dogg accounts It was bizarre Here we just let him have one account and he doesn't really cause that much trouble. Mildly annoying. My gut tells me RealAccountant is probably a fair reflection of his overall personality without the weird divide.

    I'm all for giving Dickey a start vs the Red Sox if there's no impact on our post season position But we sure AF aren't going to intentionally blow games against Baltimore

    Yes If we reach a point where wins and losses no longerr affect anything (like we have WC 1 locked up with home field but can't win the division), then rest guys for sure Until then full tilt and all hands on deck

    Well s*** Yankees have a significant SP advantage over the Red Sox for their last two games and they will never takes games against Boston lightly It WOULD be fun if the Yankees won both of those games giving is at least a theoretical chance to catch the Red Sox on the weekend Obviously highly highly unlikely but why not. Just for fun

    The games against Boston might not mean much to use but the ones vs Baltimore sure do Who we play in a WC game and where is pretty much up to us
