  1. What jerseys did I buy last decade? Donaldson Stroman LOL
  2. And who is gone? Donaldson Stroman
  3. I asked this question before and nobody answered How much credit (if any) does Charlie Montoyo deserve for the current clubhouse/dugout atmosphere? And has that helped with recruitment? Is the FO just bringing in quality guys who are good team mates? Or does Charlie do things throughout the season that helps? Like most I think he's a pretty bad in-game manager but they seem to love playing for him. We're not only signing and extending top notch players now but sometimes it's even at a discount. Does Charlie deserve some credit or no? Or is it impossible to tell?
  4. I like the lotto for the NBA Some years there's a Lebron and little else and you don't want teams trying to sink to last place to guarantee they get him In baseball there's usually more to pick from and harder to project who might be a superstar years down the road.
  5. Worked out well for him to turn down 3/40 last year, take the 1/18 QO and upped his value massively and got paid now.
  6. OTOH I just love that the Yankees and Red Sox aren't getting any of these guys
  7. Wtf the Rangers doin
  8. Are the Yankees and Angels going to sign any starting pitching?
  9. Gaussman may have been more interested in signing here
  10. Maybe Or about equal but they felt they had a better chance of signing Gaussman
  11. Ray to Seattle 5 years 115M
  12. Yes in both cases
  13. I'm sure the Dosgers were firm on 2 years too
  14. Same I guessed 3/120 for the Mets to steal him away. Didn't think it would happen but it did and it took even more Dodgers know when to back off
  15. I can't get over what a reasonable deal this is
  16. I'm gonna guess 3/120
  17. And lots of players (and GM's) don't want to take their money And they don't have a manager
  18. They gotta lock him up He's gonna be getting 20M+ in the blink of an eye anyway...
  19. Vlad's gonna get ~8M in arbitration?
  20. And a draft pick for a 29 year old Trevor Story
  21. f*** the Mets MLBTR ranked Gausman fifth on our list of the winter’s top 50 free agents, and his contract falls a bit shy of our six-year, $138MM projection. However, it appears as though Gausman did leave some money on the table to join the Blue Jays, as SNY’s Andy Martino tweets that the Mets offered Gausman a larger deal than Toronto’s five years and $110MM
  22. • If the team that loses the player does not receive revenue sharing and did not exceed the luxury-tax salary threshold the previous season, its compensatory pick will come after Competitive Balance Round B. The value of the player's contract doesn't matter in this case. The 15 teams in this category: Angels, Astros, Athletics, Blue Jays, Braves, Cardinals, Cubs, Giants, Mets, Nationals, Phillies, Rangers, Red Sox, White Sox and Yankees.
