    Well thought out OK now what if a guy like Torkelson (who was on the opening day roster) struggles for a few weeks to start the season and he gets optioned early and doesn't return to the bigs all year. Say for the sake of argument he doesn't log enough playing time to shake the Rookie status so he's a rookie again next year. Do all the same potential bonuses apply? If so that creates an incentive to NOT give him another look in August/September.
