  1. So much retrospect but if you could magically undo the Varsho trade and do that one instead you would LOL
  2. Just trade for Jose Ramirez and be done with it /Out
  3. That would make a lot of sense to a team that needs his bat more than they need his arm
  4. Would we want him as DH at that price?
  5. No matter what I think chance we get him is tiny But some proof pics of him in Toronto this weekend would be cool
  6. I'll be there in January. Can't wait.
  7. Angels new infield coach is... Ryan Goins
  8. One thing Atkins has been very good with is free agent signings Almost all have worked out well
  9. Seems prudent Big time fantasy baseball implications LOL
  10. Vladdy is fine defensively. And he has great bat to ball skills and ++ power. His problems are baserunning and at-the-plate plate approach/swing decisions.
  11. And he's predicted to get >200M
  12. Damn right And Brett Lawrie was a semi
  13. Votto not wanting to come to Toronto when he was good makes me not want him at all now that he's 40 and a part time platoon 1B at best
  14. Pitching is great Need to fill 2B, 3B and one corner OF spot with above average bats in 2-3 of those spots. Offense needs more certainly because we just don't know what Springer/Vladdy/Kirk/Varsho will do in 2024.
  15. 100% fine with the Green contract as it now stands Don't think we could get someone as good for any less
  16. Feels like the Phils are going to win it all
  17. You used to have to leaf through a catalog It's too easy now
  18. Also wondering how much $$$ Ju1ced is raking in from the ads (Jk it probably still costs him money to host this thing)
  19. Scherzer cruised through the 1st on 8 pitches Now hit Alvarez on the ankle
  20. My gut says the same
  21. 6 players who have stood out in the AFL - Jim Mayo MLB Pipeline Pitchers Ricky Tiedemann, Blue Jays (13 IP, 2.77 ERA, .182 BAA, 12.5 K/9): Great body, physical prowess, lefty. Almost like a Chris Sale slot. Touches 97 mph, sweeping SL, good CH, deceptive; He’s stood out. Jackson Jobe, Tigers (12 IP, 2.25 ERA, .217 BAA, 9.0 K/9): Has been as advertised. Smooth, up to 96-97 mph, solid breaking ball. Good athlete. Balanced. Precise. Fills up the zone, attacks hitters. Davis Daniel, Angels (10 IP, 0.90 ERA, .094 BAA, 13.5 K/9): Breath of fresh air. Fills up the zone. Moves it around. Chance to be versatile on a staff. Shows the artillery to be able to start. Hitters Chase DeLauter, OF, Guardians (37 AB, .270/.367/.459, 2 HR, 13 RBI, 6 BB, 5 K, 3 SB): Looks awesome. Larry Walker-esque. Physical specimen. Moves well in the outfield. Swing is direct to the ball. Uses all fields. Will grow into prodigious power. Jakob Marsee, OF, Padres (38 AB, .500/.574/.868, 2 HR, 10 RBI, 6 BB, 9 K, 4 SB): Grinder. Solid ability on both sides of ball. Mid-major (Central Michigan product. Excellent performer. Get Mike Tauchman (Cubs) vibes. Sterlin Thompson, OF/2B, Rockies (31 AB, 484/.610/.742, 0 HR, 7 RBI, 10 BB, 7 K, 2 SB): Has been hitterish out here. Just like he was at Florida and this year. Beautiful swing, all fields. Grows into serious damage. Aggressive baserunner, awesome approach.
  22. Freddie Freeman just had one of his best seasons And proceeded to get 1 measly hit in the post season before the Dodgers were eliminated Ultimate Large vs small sample size discrepancy
  23. Sucks Terry Francona won't manage any more My wet dream for 5-6 years with this front office has been to get him and Jose Ramirez over here
