  2. It sounds like he did everything he could to get Ohtani and Sasaki. They just wanted to go to LA. I don't get the sense they were strongly in on Yamamoto. Trade market is the best option but it's tough to make a deal for a high end SP from this farm. And we don't want to give up any of Yesavage, Nimmala or Barger that's for sure.
  3. #1 bounce back candidate in MLB next year But I know what you mean
  4. True. Though as a counterargument Betts and Rojas are so far away from 2B that he realistically could creep a little more and still not risk getting doubled up. If Freeman or Muncy catch a line drive they need someone to throw it to.
  5. Yes As long as they've never had a QO before and as long as they spend the whole season with you
  6. Exactly Previously I thought the same about Lauer. But his last 1/3 of the season made me question it a bit.
  7. Rotation: Big fish FA or trade acquisition. Could be Bieber. Yesavage Berrios Gausman Bassitt Lauer If they're all healthy one goes to the pen when there is a batch of off days. In the post season you move 2 of them to the pen depending on a number of factors.
  8. Actual last shot for Bonds and Clemens?
  9. Yes I can see 20-30 for those guys barring injury. Prob on the higher end for Varsho. And we know Vladdy and Santander have 40+ potential That plus all the good contact guys is a good offense
  10. Yeah I think all of Vladdy Santander Barger Could hit 30+ HR Nobody else will but that would be nice
  11. The Berrios contract is going to suck in 27/28. Is there any chance he opts out???
  12. I can see them going over for 2026, after the WS run and knowing that Gausman and Springer are in their last years.
  13. Yeah the Clement drive would frequently be caught *IF* the outfielders were in usual position. But they were playing WAY in and Pages had to literally run over his LF to catch it. It so easily could have been missed but he got it.
  14. When they got past Seattle I felt so happy and even felt almost OK that if they lost to the Dodgers in 6 or 7 that's still a really good season. But after coming home with TWO chances to win it, and both games winnable.... if a few players had just done just a BIT more right they found have pulled it off. It's very upsetting that they couldn't get the job done. So many amazing moments and victories in the post season but I'll always feel like they could have won it all this year but fell 1/10th of a centimeter short.
