  1. Also, Brandon Morrow and Ricky Romero will pitch 3-4 games each in September and look OK, and thus will be counted on as starters for next year. Naturally, both will then go MIA as of mid April 2014 leaving the starting rotation in shambles yet again.
  2. Dammit I wish this wasn't true
  3. I can't believe 0 HR in 2 games today. Especially with one game vs Phil "Home Run" Hughes f*** me. No, wait, f*** this s***** team.
  4. Hayhurst on radio: I had a feeling Hughes would be the guy to help Pillar break out of his hitless streak. LOL.
  5. Yep. Cost him his callup and about 2 months on the DL.
  6. Looks like it could be a good year to have 2 (and possibly 3) first round picks
  7. Plus we need pitching more than hitting Can I get Bob Gibson or Tom Seaver too???
  8. Hardly any of these spoiled pussy professional athletes today would go to war for 3 years
  9. He produced this career slash line: .344/.482 (yes, that's really his career OBP)/.634/1.116, after missing three years to go to war at ages 23-26. Oh, and in retirement he used to come to New Brunswick to go fly fishing every summer. #RealMan
  10. Dimmagio would be equally fine and move Rasmus to left. (LOL @ how funny that sounds to actually say or type it) You can't really lose with anyone on that list.
  11. Ben Nicholson Smith did a write up on the interview: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/boras-we-have-a-duty-to-create-boundaries/
  12. I want Ted Williams playing LF and batting second Thanks - 1. Reyes 2. Williams 3. EE 4. Bautista 5. Lind 6. Lawrie 7. Rasmus ... whatever ...
  13. Yeah there were games he'd be intentionally walked like every time he came to the plate.
  14. Incredible They always say that in baseball "the pitcher always has the advantage", even good hitters "only get on a third of the time", blah blah blah. Well getting on base over half the timelier the course of multiple seasons is truly amazing when you consider how difficult a game it is.
  15. We certainly could have used some of this this performance back in April. The good news is we can see Lawrie still has all-star potential.
  16. But won't have any real chance to win the MVP this year either. Cause the rest of the team stinks.
