    Meh. Cleveland was into their *4TH* pitcher of the game. Who GAF. It's not like he's trying to rob one guy of an historical moment. To me a "combined" perfect game with 7 pitchers used means about one millionth what a single pitcher's perfect game means

    We need the FO to get this year's pick right. Hopefully they don't get to pick this high again any time soon, so want to make the most of it...

    Although he was talked about forever he didn't REALLY "show up" until age 25.

    If we finish 5th worst there's a 10% chance of picking first overall, a 30.9% chance of getting a top 3 pick, and almost no chance of picking worse than 9th. Not bad! (even the worst team only has a 16.5% chance of picking 1st overall)

    I re-read read some of the new draft rules. If you are in the world series you can't pick any better than 29 or 30 no matter what your regular season record was. IDK...

    I feel like catchers are particularly prone to early career falls in offensive performance. Am I wrong or is it a thing?

    Did the Angels deliberately hold Ohtani back from stealing bases? Especially when he was pitching regularly? He usually only stole 10-20 a year there.

    Right. He was a Super 2. Regardless, last arb year will be very expensive.

    Extend him this off season and spread out the $ His arb 3 alone will be ~ 30MM
