Ouch. Since week 3 of the NFL season, my Facebook profile picture has been me in an orange Manning jersey in front of my new house. I've been wearing my Manning fanboyism pretty hard this year. Makes it more exciting when the team you like wins and more painful when they lose. And my Patriots-loving friends have been good sports.
  3. This blows though I like Hayhurst. He's like a poor man's Keith Law (LOL that my phone tried to change Hayhurst to Bathurst)
  4. LOL He doesn't even say "Martinez" right
  5. And then traded for Chase Utley the next day BAM!
  6. Is there anything worse than a hot woman who doesn't like sex??
  7. There hasn't been a SINGLE free agent signing since he was posted in December.
  8. Los Angeles probably has a few as well...
  9. Tweeted today. Aparently means "I can't decide"
  10. Seriously though, so true. The blind eye that MLB may have turned on PED use a decade ago has NOTHING on the blissful ignorance the NFL is currently enjoying.
  11. That's a tough one for me. Where do you draw the line? Mark McGuire admits he used PED's. Sammy Sosa doesn't admit he used them but everyone knows he did. Alex Rodriguez has still never failed a drug test. Barry Bonds was guilty of "obstructing justice". All have HOF numbers. Who gets in and who doesn't? All of them? Some of them? None of them? Murky waters indeed...
  12. NOBODY is saying that Bonds was clean...
  13. All of his competitors were using PED's too. And he was STILL that much better than everybody else. That's why.
  14. Yep. Barry's insane years and the Sosa/McGuire home run battles may well never be duplicated. It was surreal. And fun to watch, I'll admit.
  15. Sorry, I can't help but laugh at the response
  16. It's incredible how this Tanaka posting has brought everything to a grinding halt
  17. Or 4. Barry Bonds is the only member of the 500 home runs/500 steals club. He’s also the only member of the 400 home runs/400 steals club.
  18. I like this one: 9. Intentional walk leaders, 2001-2004: 1. Barry Bonds: 284 2. St. Louis Cardinals: 260 3. Montreal Expos: 252 4. Philadelphia Phillies: 237 5. Arizona Diamondbacks: 232 Unlike Fact #19, this is the top of the leaderboard. Sure, Bonds drew more intentional walks over a span 14 years than eight different teams. But from 2001-2004, Bonds drew more walks than EVERY TEAM.
  19. Incredible. He wasn't exactly a singles hitter.
  20. There really are some remarkable stats (and funny comments) here Hey, it's a slow news MONTH http://oldtimefamilybaseball.com/post/73935637744/25-greatest-barry-bonds-facts
