    the Jays' Dominican players had staged a fervent recruiting effort for Santana, who is from La Romana, Dominican Republic. At one point, the players texted a photo to Santana's cell phone, according to a source. The photo was of the players holding a sign that said, "Come to Toronto."

    He really was that f'n good. No one wanted pitch to him, he got walked all the time, and still managed to find 45 pitches to hit over the OF fence.

    That is EXACTLY the question that AA and Gibby need to ask themselves. Neither are good all around players. But if the defense is good from both, I'll go with the guy who looks more promising at the plate. Obviously nowhere near 100% sure yet but I think it MIGHT be Diaz.

    Sorry but I love it JP batting .143 so far. Goes 0-3, Washington pinch hits for him, and PH gets an RBI base hit. And JP makes an error in the game. Wow
