    Exactly. If Getz is as bad as Goins and they are still in thick of it June 3 it would be a great signing for 5-6M.

    Yep. Sorely won't be up here again. Might as well be removed from the 40. It's meaningless to the Jays. But Sierra needs to be replaced. His performance and lack of utility is hurting the team on a regular basis.

    SHI DAVIDI APRIL 28, 2014, 7:12 PM The Toronto Blue Jays will add second baseman Chris Getz to the roster Tuesday, according to multiple sources, after the club optioned Ryan Goins to triple-A Buffalo on Monday night. The team didn’t announce the move because they will need to clear a spot for him on the 40-man roster. Getz’s speed game will give manager John Gibbons more options at the bottom of his lineup.
