  1. Could have been a hell of a lot worse.
  2. We know Osuna had issues last year with anxiety, etc. If there was more underlying mental illness that wasn't reported, it's certainly possible that he simply snapped.
  3. Let's hope so, but that's yet to be determined. If anyone was going to no hit us, I'm glad it was a Canadian.
  4. Maybe, but in the past news outlets typically had SOME process in place to investigate before reporting. Social media has no such thing, just a bunch of loud mouths trying to use everything to further their agendas.
  5. Batters seem very comfortable in the box against him, and they're putting good swings on the ball. He either needs to make them a little more uncomfortable, or maybe he's tipping pitches.
  6. Lol, was quickly scanning and did a double take when I thought I read Al Bundy.
  7. I think I ended up taking Nola and Snell.
  8. To be fair, there WERE a number of people suggesting he should be traded last offseason because he value was high and he was a reliever.
  9. You absolutely can.
  10. I would assume Oh would become the closer.
  11. Even if he comes back, we might see Rogers force management to trade him.
  12. Something to help offset the Osuna news: https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-vlad-guerrero-jr-just-hit-home-run-off-tee/ Bomb to the opposite field, off a tee!
  13. Yeah, I've been eyeballing that too. Not sure what I'll do, but that cost is insane.
  14. The Nog experiment was not wise. FFS, get JV out there and ride him the rest of the game if you have to.
  15. Wonder what's the bigger insult, a rookie pitcher hitting a single off you, or Billy Hamilton hitting a home run?
  16. Man are there a lot of low scoring games today.
  17. Smith kinda reminds me of Carrera. Good tools, problems above the shoulders.
  18. P - Gibson P - Junis C - Sanchez 1B- Moreland 2B - Merrifield 3B - Ramirez SS - Eduardo Escobar OF - Markakis OF - JD Martinez OF - Soler Nervous about the pitching, but my spreadsheet likes them both and Scherzer (far and away the best option apparently) was too damn expensive.
  19. What a ridiculous shot by Lebron. Boy, we really needed to return the favor for them on game one, and it would have been a series again.
  20. I actually really like the way we've played this game, aside from some of the easy shots we missed in the first 5 mins.
  21. Betts with another home run. Man is he on some kind of tear.
  22. Hard to blame Morales for that. That far to the side is tough for any first baseman, let alone someone filling in as an emergency.
  23. Yep. We've been doing enough to beat ourselves in some of these games, the umps don't need to help too.
  24. I think a few things were clear yesterday on our side. 1. Ibaka can't be in the starting rotation when he's playing like this. 2. You need JV out there countering Love. 3. The offense got frustrated and starting heaving bad shots when we got down, that can't happen. Get movement, make it unpleasant for the Cavs on defense. Make Lebron play defense, or give you easy layups if he won't.
