Is it even a jerk play? I mean, players sometimes throw close to that kind of money around at teammates to get a jersey number they want and things like that. Many of the fans out there may have purchased those tickets specifically in the hopes they might catch it, and it might mean a lot to them to have that piece of history too. If it was an underpaid rookie hitting their first home run, that might be very different. For someone hitting their 500th, who has made over 300M in their career, it doesn't really seem unfair to me. Hell, Miggy is making a little under 200K A GAME this year...

It's actually pretty smart if the catcher makes the throw. Anything can happen that allows the other runner to get additional bases.

Neither team looks like they're seeing the ball very well, and for the most part really not since returning to RC. I wonder if they did something to the batters eye that's affecting the hitters?

I think the main concern people will have is what happens if the company goes under? Not owning physical copies also allows copies to go poof very easily. Several companies that deal in ultraviolet and other digital copies of movies have disappeared, so it does happen. If the NFT exchange for the cards is proprietary, it's very much at risk.
