The USA got to the point where everyone who wanted two shots got them, so they opened up. We haven't gotten to that point yet, but likely will around the start of August. The government is doing exactly what they should be on that front. I would suspect that only fully vaccinated people will be allowed across the border in either direction. It'll be up to MLB to decide what to do with that. -

Depending on how his showcase went, Peacock could be interesting and would only cost cash. Cole Hamels could also be interesting in the pen. I wonder what the status on Salazar is?

If all of that is true, then Glasnow hurt himself because he decided to cheat. Everyone knew coming into the season that the league wanted to crack down on illegal substances. He had plenty of time in spring training to prepare. The only sympathy I would have is if he was pressured to do it by the team.

Very few trades happen this time of year. You're assuming they COULD make a trade if they wanted to, which is questionable at best. As much as I'd like to see Pearson in the rotation, he might be more important in relief right now (at least until more arms come back). Also, if Charlie would quit overusing the pen and push the starters a little deeper, it would likely pull up the performance of the pen as well.

I think the CBA puts limits on how long the league can suspend someone for and how much they can fine them for outside of pre-agreed upon areas. I'm not positive though.

I don't think Charlie is the dumbest in the organization's history, let alone all clubs. Definitely like to see an upgrade though.
