    I'm curious what the NBA is going to do about some of these offensive fouls. Players are beginning to just stick their face as close as possible to the offensive player. I don't want to go back to what it used to be, where the go-to move was to swing your elbows around as hard as possible to clear space, but there has to be some sort of middle ground. A player should be able to bring the ball up to shoot without worrying about an offensive foul if it hits the defender in the nose.

    Seems pretty smart to me. If (when) anyone is upset, they can just say MLB told them to do it and avoid most of the damage.

    Yes, did you? No one is defending what Bauer did (some of which he's admitted to openly). Questioning part of the allegations when things don't add up doesn't mean anyone thinks Bauer's actions aren't f***ed up. Hell, they might be criminal even with consent, and even if she initiated all of this with the goal of taking this public before the encounters. Unless the whole thing ends up being proven to be fabricated on her end, which seems exceptionally unlikely, he may very well have his contract voided over this. That would probably make it the most expensive nights of sex in modern human history.

    In today's world you're guilty until proven innocent ... by which time everyone has moved onto the next outrage and never see the innocent part announced.

    Yeah, but she can't delete them off Bauer's phone. He'd be able to fill in the blanks for investigators immediately. Regardless, I don't see why anyone would agree to meet a second time if he did all that the first time without her consent. It'll play out in court and maybe eventually we'll know the truth. To me, it kind of sounds like she set Bauer up. Both will probably lose, and the lawyers will win.
