    July 1st is the day that thousands of people make fun of the Mets over the Barry Bonilla deferred payments. But it's always more fun to make fun of the king of the deferred payments the Baltimore Orioles. The O's will pay: Chris Davis $3.5M a year from 2023 to 2032 and then $1.4M from 2033 to 2037. Alex Cobb $2m in 2022 and $1.8m from 2023 to 2032. He'll have $5.5m of his salary deferred to 2033 to 2037 when he doesn't get 130 innings in 2020 Mark Trumbo gets $1.5m in 2020, 21, 22 Cashner $1.5m in 2020 & 21 Ubaldo gets $2.25m a year from last year to 2022 The Nats have a bunch of deferred payments too. The Reds are also still paying Ken Griffey Jr

    They should have chosen Giles then injury replaced him with Stroman. Would have made more sense. Additionally 4 DH's is just stupid. Drop Meadows and put in Kepler. Drop JD Martinez and put in Xander. Drop Abreu and have Vogelbach be the back up 1B, give the spot to any of the deserving candidates (Moncada, even Semien would be fine). I just made the AL team with only small discussion points. Oh wait that is the entire point of bad decisions.

    yep I don't like to negotiate and I have 1 thing in mind, which is this year. I don't have the time to turn 15 into a gem without a certain amount of luck anyway. With that said I love Poche, and Littlemoon is much easier to deal with then all the rest of you.

    It was actually only one person in town asking for the change. It was refused until the casino (the main sponsor), decided to use it as a marketing opportunity. They have built a plaque in the casino talking about moving forward and how the name can change and still represent all Southwest Sask. Many of these changes are done more for marketing than need for change. The ones that need changing are usually in the professional level and they don't see the profit in changing so they don't. as for Maple Creek's Cowboys vs. Indians is actually a great relationship event. So despite the non-PC name they are good with keeping it and have recently chose to educate over making a change. Something I am a big proponent of.
