    Sanchez has to be added to the 40 man next year, so there is zero reason why he won't be called up in September, even if there are no starts available for him. Yes, Law has always been huge on Sanchez (had him at 19 overall last year) so for him to say anything negative it's something that we should listen to

    I haven't looked around to see the other match-ups but I have to figure that my pitching numbers would be dominant against most but am getting swept by Dinger. 6 wins, 73 K's, 3 holds 2.94 ERa,4.06 k/bb and .257 OPBA. Still 3 pitchers pitching though

    Never nervous Yangervis! makes contact, doesn't strikeout much but is aggressive at the plate. He's pretty much what you want in a bench piece, injury replacement.

    Of course I did. Never actually made it to Oshawa (I consider everything east of Toronto to be the shwa). I missed my last train (the girl at Guildwood told me the time that the last train stopped at Guildwood not what time it left Union so I missed it by a few minutes...I just had to stop for poutine) so I figured my best option was to bus to Pickering and cab back to Scarborough from there, took me 20 minutes to get a cab at the Go station.

    real name was Kirk Sawyers was an umpire in the Intercounty league and a few of my friends from the league have already confirmed this to be true and his FB wall also does.

    RIP Kirk. him and I talked poker quite a bit (he ran an underground poker room for quite a long time). I messaged him a question about umpiring last (for a school project) and he replied right away. Super nice guy

    I took National Coaching Certification today and the prof is a former Canadian National Women's team coach. Me and a couple others got into a conversation with him and it turns out he also works for the Jays running the Super Clinics. Some guys started talking about the Trade and when I roll my eyes a bit he said "There isn't a GM in baseball that wouldn't have made the Marlins and Mets deals" He also said that everyone in that front office knows that the Jays have more talent than any team in baseball it's just a question of staying healthy, and that's why they didn't make any moves. I'd rather get stuck in locked room with Gruber and the Goins Goins Gone crowd than have to listen to a 40 year baseball guy like him.
