    Rays do not care about pitch counts at all. They have said that pitch counts mean nothing it's times seen. Don't manage a playoffs different than the regular season. I like the concept. In the end the best team won. No pitching move would have made a difference.

    Of course it is. The Book wrote of this. If the league had an analytics team employed they would warn of these things and they could make changes in advance to slow the decrease in scoring instead of being reactive. Instead they hire from the same pool the broadcasts do

    I will triple down. I am a dumb former ballplayer. I learned about "nerd" baseball from some really smart people. I am no where near smart still but I do what I can to understand. These Rays have smart people trying to get these dumb ballplayers to understand. As more orgs do the same the more players will want to play in these situations. Not good for baseball is one I cannot argue, but players will come around much faster than broadcasters and former players ever will.

    Also from Kurtz The trio expected to be posted of Kim Ha-seong, Na Sung-bum and Kim Jae-hwan are currently on playoff bound teams. KBO playoffs begin on November 1. The extension of the posting period should help if any of the trio are still playing in the Korean Series at the end of November.

    31, had a major injury in 2019, has Boras as an agent, but Sung-Bum Na is also being posted this year. Another guy who has shown interest in coming over his entire career
