I didn't see that play. Was it breaking up a double play? My point is that Lawrie never understands situations. I don't think he's trying to be dirty but there is zero need to break up a double play when there is zero chance there will be a double play. -
slide to the bag not the player. He's safe if he does.

13 straight games for Wood where he's given up 3 runs or less. 12 quality starts. This should be interesting, considering I think the Jays have the best vs. LHP lineup in baseball.

There was going to be no double play on the Lawrie play. He actually beat the throw, his dangerous slide actually caused him to be out when he came off the bag.

Just another example of Lawrie not seeing the situation. He's so single minded. Love the Royals announcers BS of "Royals have been hit more than any team in baseball".

I figured those that like to treat fantasy leagues like a video game and trade every week would dislike the LOD. It's just not going to be easy to make moves without catching someone at a moment of stupidity. By the time I'm done school next year I'll be ready to take over some impatient child's team.

I just watched the ESPN 30 for 30 on The Schedule Makers. It's a great story of how computers couldn't do the MLB schedule so this husband and wife did it for many years. Now that computers do it again...we get the s***** schedule we have now. It's a good watch...but then again so is every 30 for 30.
