  1. Cleveland just throws out talented starter after talented starter...to zero results.
  2. Humberto Quintero is amazing... http://www.milb.com/multimedia/vpp.jsp?content_id=98034083
  3. Sometimes I feel like I should re-evaluate things as Bonds and ARod are among my favourite ball players of all time. Nah...I'm good.
  4. we'll be sure to stand 6 inches off the plate so he can hit us with it
  5. Those numbers are in pesos. Converts to Bullpen So naive young Boxy
  6. No but I think they explore trade options right now (Jarrod Dyson might have made sense but Rios isn't back for a month, panic move and deal with Dodgers is my favourite move now). And I can see them giving Pompey a solid 2 months unless he tears it up down there. My point still was that they would be impatient with him despite not having any potential replacements.
  7. Figured that even without a good option around they wouldn't be patient with him. He was doing better than I predicted and they gave him half the PA's that I thought.
  8. Chris Perez opts out of his deal with the Brewers...how many casuals see Clozer and two-time all-star and suggest him. Might be a good thing he was awful in Colorado Springs or AA might be leading the way.
  9. I thought Macier was close to beginning a rehab assignment.
  10. Homer Bailey officially needing TJS. Right at the time I'm finished my last exam and willing to talk pitching trading with Min. Anyone else want to drive the price up I'm willing to talk. His biggest hard on is for Paxton.
  11. actually Gregerson has a blown save...and blew more saves than anyone last year. He's projected for much worse numbers than Cecil the rest of the way. The average amount of blown saves for a team last year was over 18. It happens get out of your little bubble you live in.
  12. who the f*** isn't...dreamy eyes and can catch a fish. Swoon!
  13. Never mind got it on twitter. I assume everyone correctly gave Gibbons 100% of the credit for the win?
  14. Jays minus 1.5 at 2.46. Moneyline right now is 1.82. 5 inning runline is 1.56
  15. Catcher - Travis d'Arnaud, Yan Gomes (JPA buried in the minors with Carlos Perez) 1B - Lind 2B - Valbuena SS - Hech 3B - Lawrie RF - Marisnick CF - Gose LF - Rasmus P - Wojc, Descalfani, Morrow, Alvarez, Happ (Nicolino, Snydergaard, Graveman) I'm sure I'm forgetting about others. That's about a $35M team that wins 60 games.
  16. Welcome to Howie's Crack House. Everyone who comes gets a hit
  17. I didn't read the article or anything but the biggest framing advocates have talked about it being a teachable skill. I'm of the understanding that Navarro just doesn't like to put the time in to work on it.
  18. see everyone...the team will be just fine.
  19. Guillmet and West were/are their best options. They weren't given a chance because the kids were a better story. The stat I can't figure out if it's close to the actual future number is that right now the Pen has a 35% GB rate. That would be great in SD...not in the Rogers Centre or most of the parks this team has played in.
  20. All I will say about the pen is that they didn't come north with their best crew...but it's still a small sample size and because the pen was bad over a SSS it doesn't mean it will be all year. I hope panic sets in for them and they overpay for a reliever. Jose Dominguez and his 0.00 ERA could be had for a little piece like DSJ.
  21. So it's okay for the Jays to strand 13 runners in a 1 run game?
