    I wouldn't want to make a rule that covers it cause it would be so tough to write, but he's right. Protect the players and make HBP's no longer the way to "exact revenge" for someone pissing you off. I'd love to say something like make it a discretionary number of bases the batter gets after a HBP, but putting more judgements into the umpires hands is a good way to have more fights.

    I want to see if this is a ploy or can he play though. For a couple minutes rest a bad matchup shouldn't make that much of a difference...but with what is happening out there right now. In hindsight, it would have been a horrible move.

    Actually I didn't think the thread was that bad. Many mentioned hard slides, beanings and punches being bad for baseball. But the hatred for Bautista is real. I wonder if he or Harper would win a poll for the most hated player at this point. I'd also like to add that Blue Jays fans should learn how to get headlines in a positive way (I have to admit this is a very small amount of fans that did this) http://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/1031993 I did find this at least a little better.

    about an hour after I posted about wanting to move back up into the top 5 for this draft too. This guy is the D, not in the DDL. Speaking of the D in the DDL, I made a nothing trade with Dinger. he's in Stockholm doing vile things to 02's son so he can't confirm but it was a straight MLB trade of Papelbon for Siegrest.

    That's why I never traded you Mesoraco, 20 offers for him...he had to be ready to return to top 3 form. I have someone I kind of like in the draft now. I'd like to listen to offers to get back into the top 5. Take a look at my team and make me an offer if you are willing to move one
