  1. Bleachers are General Admission. I don't like to watch baseball with the drunks either but I like to drink when I'm away on a vacation. I might do set seats for the Friday game depending on my flight time.
  2. The guy hit .500 over 224 PAs in 2015. Next highest average was .371 (Lourdes was 15th at .344). He was the best even when he left.
  3. Place to be. More of a party than a place to watch the game (opens up 4 hours before the game starts with the bar open the entire time). With that said you get there for the start, save great seats in the front and the party behind you isn't a distraction. Marquee games Bleachers are $65 (last year) 3rd highest only to the box seats. Not the tickets to do if you are going with your wife and kids. But group tickets it's a blast. Plus you get to watch the indoor BP behind the ivy.
  4. I've booked twice through them so I'm on their "list". There is a group sales deposit.
  5. I'm a little afraid that the Sunday game will become a night game. So I'm doing Friday and Saturday. Flying in early Friday and heading straight to Wrigley. Then the Saturday I don't care what time it starts.
  6. Bleacher...the only tickets worth buying at Wrigley. They call me every year, I probably will have to pursue it myself this year.
  7. Think about how much better Carter would be under proper management today. DH him more often, sit him against Ground Ball RHP's...maybe he avoids his every year drop off in the second half. Probably could have got him up to that 110 wRC+ and got him over 130 in his peak.
  8. Yeah that 1 hit he's given up in 6 post-season innings now. He was terrible.
  9. Buying group tickets for the Jays series in Wrigley.
  10. But you don't spend this many years in your Mom's basement without getting some strong hands. I have BTS in a TKO. Remember it's midnight, there is a strong possibility that BBBB hits the pavement a dozen times before he ever gets to the corner.
  11. Midget? I heard they won provincials. Must be AA though. I just joined the board for a 2018 Midget Elite Team. To the original comment, I think Votto actually played most of his Rep ball with Etobicoke Rangers, after starting with Royal York.
  12. I don't like anyone's opinion
  13. He asked for his account to be deleted as he felt out of place here. I banned him just in case he started a legit thread (or changes his mind)...I have a bit of history with deleting unimportant threads that some people liked.
  14. You really think he's willing to play for the Royal York Cardinals again? Sorry just had to get that bad joke in before I deleted the thread ("smoke" was enough on it's own)
  15. I think people are mistaking the "more sought after of the two" to mean better.
  16. After the weekend for me. Golden Gloves weekend.
  17. Braves about to sign Colon. I'm not sure why but Colon and Dickey is reality show that I'd like to watch
  18. And Jeff Blair's load of crap. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/dickey-trade-right-move-blue-jays-time/
  19. Choi Hyoung-woo
  20. I like the idea of finding insurance for Travis over trading him for similar value. But I agree with NJH that there has to be another option on the roster for when Travis has his next DL stint. I go back to my 4 year (play on repeat) suggestion of Luis Valbuena. Looked solid at 1B, can back up at 3B and 2B, isn't disgusting at DH. Left Handed bat and no pick attached to him. If you can get any sign that his hamstring surgery was successful, he is a fit for this lineup (even if we bring EE back).
  21. Mods! Nice well thought out post NJH. I await the rest of the series.
  22. He's the Anti-Ang
  23. Pillar's wife f***ed up this vote for him by her bad taste in media crushes.
  24. only made 24 less plays than Pillar, Beat him in DRS (by 4), and beat him in both the traditional old school voters realms too (7 assists to 6, and 1 error to 6). Will be interesting to see who wins the Fielding Bible award.
