    During the conversation around Ohtani, NJH said something like "Hurl's free spot gravy train with Ohtani and Maitan needs to end, good thing Maitan is a non asset now". I am good with any decision I just want time to think about moves. I have a stacked 10 person farm right now so finding a spot for him is not an issue...but it would make me want to trade my draft picks.

    They do this every home team HR hit (and walk off hits). There is some odd traditions in College...Ole Miss OF'ers also throw a ball into the crowd at the end of each innings warmups. The students write messages and throw the ball back at the start of the next inning.

    Momma was a thick one. I don't actually know that is Junior's mama...it's a 20% chance as Vlad had 8 kids with 5 women and Heidy is the only one that was ever named.

    Remember when we all thought the Rays were doing something special in handling their pitchers as they never had TJS. The past few years just shows that either Friedman had cut a deal with the devil...or it was just dumb luck.

    I've had a chance to sit in Swayze's RF and it's one of the best party places to watch a baseball game. Miss St. has a pretty good LF but no one should ever go there. I've got a few more on my College ball bucket list that I hope to hit before I die. Animals of section B singing O'Canada in Florida State...the four ball walk count at College Station are the two that I most want to do. And of course an Omaha trip someday

    Yes, that was the challenge. If more people thanked my post than who thanked JohnHavok’s post calling for Gary to be banned (which was 50+, including myself which is when Gary called me a bully for thanking such a post…then he said that if there was a post for me to be banned that everyone would like it). The deadline passed (9 months ago…enough gestation time for Gary to have 4 new accounts) and Gary was wrong. I would say that this was another situation of most people not getting my sense of humour but I am used to that by now. At least I’m good at distracting bad posters from good threads to my joke threads.

    Nope but I know Dabayner is a long term FC'er, and I believe there are others that share (or shared) both leagues.

    My argument has always been that I think he is probably a great teammate as well as a great pitcher. If anything he cares too much about his teammates...and overshares. Even saying that they are negotiating a long-term deal is not for his Twitter friends.

    Clearwater and Stienbrenner are 1 - 2 for minor league parks i have visited. Any chance you will still be there in May for the Jays series?
