    Confirmed. In the end I couldn't wait for J4L to get into the league and max value for Gore. I know no one will like this trade but I'm good with that.

    Neither does Kang. I know that we have the opportunity to pick up dropped players from the playoff teams...Anyone dropped Saturday would just clear waiver Wednesday. I have zero issue with a pick up happening at this point or right through to the end of the MLB season

    For those of you that buy in to Pre Season hockey...the 18 year that was the best player on the ice for the past couple Habs and Leaf games is available in a trade. Kotkaniemi is available. Looking for a top line forward with multi position eligibility for him. I'm in zero hurry to make a move so only offers that blow me away will get a response

    At least the other two were trying to say "WAR is a pretty good judge of who is best". I couldn't figure out what the discussion was about as I looked it up yesterday and Yelich was more than a win up on Cain. Turns out that on rWAR (or bWAR if you prefer) has Cain at 7.0 and Yelich at 6.6. I don't know if ESPN has a deal with BRef but it just makes a legit argument for people to discredit WAR as a measure when there is s*** like this. I'm sorry you can never convince me that Lorenzo Cain's defense is 3 wins greater than Yelich. Freeland is a full 3.8 wins better on rWAR too. In the end his argument was right..you don't need a WAR calculation to know that Yelich has been better this year. He just had to bring Cain's super low RBI's up.

    The intention was to give him 3 innings max....then when he was perfect they brought him out until he gave up a hit.
