  1. What if we upgraded your #15 pick to #5, and added a late-round downgrade of #65 -> #81 or #86 -> #106?
  2. 63 pitches, all strikes. Joking though... that's pretty cool!
  3. Alright, here's the proposal I cooked up. To Me: Huston Street, MiLB #21 (Davidson) To KingKat: MiLB #32, MiLB #86, Hunter Dozier (Castro, #109) To Dinger: Miguel Montero (Street) To JaysFever: MiLB #24 (Montero, #86) To BTS: Jason Castro, MiLB #109 (Dozier, #32) To z3r0s: Matt Davidson, [DJ Davis or JP Crawford] (Garza) To Sammy: Matt Garza (#21, [Davis or Crawford]) Involved parties, comment if this interests you. We could make some alterations.
  4. Would you trade him for a package centred around Hunter Dozier or Matt Davidson (AL ROY)? lol c'mon, you're weakening my profile's integrity. I never post made-up stuff.
  5. Not impressed. A perfectly perfect game has to be all immaculate innings.
  6. Some people think so highly of certain players that it makes them in effect untouchable. Homer Bailey was essentially untouchable for me last year, even though I was fully willing to trade him. Maybe BTS has a real thing for Dozier. -- By the way, what would you want for Huston Street? I could work you into this deal. Also, interested in Miguel Montero?
  7. His mechanics are a mess though. They have led, and will continue to lead, to injury, a lack of control and a big platoon split.
  8. I'm serious though lol. A year or two ago it was pointed out that Lawrie followed accounts like this. The non-Toronto media just hasn't gotten wind of it until now.
  9. We've known that Lawrie follows questionable stuff on twitter for a while, haven't we?
  10. You think so? I thought his fastball command was the only thing lacking. Breaking ball command was on point though, the hitters chased it when he needed them to. Averaged 91.4 on the fastball... exactly the same as he did in 2012.
  11. Two especially clauses in one sentence? You've stepped up your game.
  12. What really stood out to me yesterday was when Navarro apologized to the umpire and smiled instead of grumbled after tossing his bat on that not-quite-ball-four. This guy knows his role and is happy to fulfill it to the best of his abilities.
  13. 0-26, then a walk-off grand slam.
  14. The manager's allowed to visit the mound to talk with the pitcher, so I don't know how you'd disallow him coming out. Maybe you can't challenge a call after a mound visit? Anyway, they should just institute an UmpireFX system or something. Have cameras make the calls on the bases and deploy a smaller # of umps to keep the game flowing and respond to the system's signalling. I'm sure the technology exists.
  15. Doesn't Bautista think highly of Jonathan Diaz? Maybe they're soliciting advice from the players again.
  16. And Greenwood misspelled his name... lol
  17. They probably wanted Reyes to get hurt all along so they could use him as an excuse.
  18. All three games are now tied in the seventh lol
  19. Not as much as that Sonny Gray hammer. Oh my.
  20. Francona challenging a play at the plate. Clearly out though, great play by Sonny Gray.
  21. His over-the-top delivery must provide some deception too.
