  1. Every team's lineup lacks depth these days. It's a new era.
  2. I'm only going to win 8-6 because Boxy had a great pitching week. My offense is absolutely f***ed through two weeks. It's not even fair.
  3. Seven homer day for me, giving me 19 (!) on the week. My opponent, Boxy, only had six for the week lol.
  4. Beltran is a lazy POS lol Tagging up from third on an easy sac fly, but throw goes to third for outfield assist. Beltran wasn't running at 100%, cost New York a run.
  5. They seem to be fooled by Herrera's fluky-mediocre ERA last year. He's an Ace Reliever. Perkins in for the save.
  6. I don't understand why the Royals don't just use Kelvin Herrera as their set-up man. They keep fooling around with Crow and Davis and it's biting them.
  7. His swing is broken. Mechanical fixes/problems are what break projections.
  8. They called up this Stinson guy last year for an emergency start and we destroyed him. Was a day game IIRC.
  9. On the plus side, looks like EE is finally stinging the ball. Last year he got off to a slow start, then started stinging the ball for two weeks, then went on a total homer binge. Nice squeeze there!
  10. Why can't "great pitching" on the Orioles' part be the reason our bats were silent? There's two sides to every game.
  11. Only a matter of time before one of those goes over the fence...
  12. Redmond is a crazy good matchup for Davis. Huge chance of homer here.
  13. If they win it's the best thing ever though. That super long game vs. Texas last year at home (Davis walk-off) was one of my favourite games of recent years. The marathon in San Diego was fun too even if they lost.
  14. He's a pretty substantial fly ball guy. 30.9 GB% in his 86.2 MLB innings and I assume similar rates in the minors. Also last year in the Majors he did give up a ton of dingers, 13 in 77 innings. That's a lot.
  15. Bautista hit a big homer off him last year IIRC. It was dramatic.
  16. He kinda is. The K/BB is generally nice with him, but his true talent level probably involves a lot more home runs than we've seen from him so far. Home run rates stabilize much slower than Ks and BBs, so it is very possible that luck is masking his natural home run tendencies.
  17. So much for instant replay lol. Second time we've been screwed tonight
  18. Yes, this. I don't even think EE jumped at all. They need better cameras or something.
  19. There are other ways to communicate lol. Send your trade partners a PM on Proboards, or an email.
  20. Keep in mind that two of the four walks he issued last year were intentional. Without them, his FIP totals are 28 / 2 / 1. That's f***ed! Santos is absolutely ridiculous. His slider is a Weapon of Mass Destruction. It should be legislated against under international law. I get disappointed whenever Santos doesn't strike a batter out, let alone allowing that guy to reach or score.
  21. Did anyone see Ballplayer: Pelotero? I thought it was pretty cool.
