  1. Bo is definitely having a contract year. He's going to bet paid
  2. What an amazing AB from Schneider. After all that, to just smoke one way out! that was big. I hope it gets some life into the offence
  3. The Jays have their Mojo on overdrive right now. This is the best 1 to 9 lineups I can remember for a long time. There really aren't many weaknesses, now that Schneider started making the lineup fluid. That is something many has wanted for years. Hot hitters get moved into higher leverage hitting sports. Springer is kicking it in his OP position. chemistry of the team is very good right now.
  4. after the game, I'll have to admit that Buckner didn't completely fvck up the game. some bad calls early, but for the most part the players got to decide the game despite his efforts Cb bucknor C. B. Bucknor is a Jamaican umpire in Major League Baseball (MLB) who has worked in both major leagues since 2000. He has been recognized as one of the worst umpires in MLB, with Sports Illustrated surveys of active major league players voting him as the worst umpire in MLB in 2003 and 2006. In a 2010 ESPN survey of 100 active players, Bucknor was again named the worst umpire in MLB. Bucknor has been the subject of criticism for his performance, with several instances of missed calls and controversial decisions. For example, in a game between the Cardinals and Reds, he missed a season-high 28 calls. Another instance involved a missed strikeout call in the eighth inning of a Dodgers-Mariners game, which led to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expressing his dissatisfaction. Recent reports indicate that Bucknor's performance has continued to draw criticism. A post on Reddit mentioned that he had another dreadful game behind the plate, with users discussing his poor accuracy and the impact of his calls on the game. Additionally, there have been discussions about the need for MLB to address the issue of poor umpiring, with some suggesting that automated ball/strike calls might be necessary. Despite the criticism, Bucknor has had some notable moments in his career, including being the home plate umpire for Lucas Giolito’s no-hitter in 2020. However, his overall performance has been a point of contention among players, coaches, and fans.
  5. I'm with you on the first one, don't jinx it with the second one man!! lol
  6. The first month of the season was brutal. No power, couldn't hit w/RISP and the pen got torched because almost every game was only 1 or 2 runs.
  7. I'm with you on that, but they don't have enough solid arms in the pen. They really need to bring in at least 1 more guy before the deadline Pina is was a bad option. They already have Green to be a s***** mop up guy, but Green keeps being used in leverage situations. at least they won. 4am end doesn't hurt as much with a win lol
  8. 10 years since the last Jays double digit winning streak.
  9. that got way more interesting that it should have been. the streak goes on
  10. I have little faith in Green. He makes me nervous every time he comes in
  11. A length reliever, is that a fancy way of saying mop up guy?
  12. 5 pitch inning... maybe the pen gets a night off?
  13. Daddylive(.sx) has every game. Usually at least 4 streams.
  14. 70 pitches through 5. could get another 2 innings from Berrios
  15. it's rather pathetic that MLB still has CB employed as an umpire. He's one of the worst umps ever. He's on a level of terrible with Bob Davidson and Joe West. None of them should have been in the league more than a season, but all of them got to be incompetent for 5 decades
  16. The silver lining for me, the game it over at 10:30pm instead of 4:30 am. Sorry, that's all I got. That was truly painful to watch. Rays played great, Jays were worse than a no show. Good luck in Texas. They have lost 7 in a row. Maybe the Jays can get them back on track? lol Could the Jays play worse than today, without trying to play worse?
  17. It's not just this group. It's been the case for most of the last decade
  18. But why... year after year. It's been several different Jays teams but none of them can play the Rays.
