    was in Korea and had to try something truly Korean. You get really good with chop sticks In Korea since at most places you don't get your own plate. lol pick fast or go hungry. I always want to eat some local food when I travel. It's all part of the trip.

    the one that really freaked me out was people ordering a steak blue rare. Had these 2 really strange characters who used to come in once a week and the one wanted blue rare which is literally 15 seconds on each side and the other guy wanted only 15 on one side. I used to throw it on the grill and then hold it under the heat lamp a few seconds and they loved it... yuck. I'm a rare steak guy but I want it at least warm in the middle on the other side there were people who ordered the thickest steak on the menu well done... you can't do it without burning the things unless you're smart. A few minutes on each side, braise the sides, throw it in the microwave for 2 minutes and have at it. people who truly like and appreciate a good steak would know something was up, but they wouldn't order a 2" thick steak well done either.

    some holiday kimchi can be amazing, but it makes you sweat out so you smell like garlic and cabbage. delicious though.

    They need to have modern day tech guys who know the rules and video doing the decision making in the Review booth. Having a fossil of an ump, who wants more than anything to scratch the balls of his fellow umps on the field, instead of trying to get the correct call.

    somehow the beer can magically turned itself into a delicious fried chicken that was obviously drunk because someone can't afford to buy steak? quite easy to follow really

    1000 tries and all you have to do is foul one off... I think anyone with good hand eye coordination would time one up to make contact. Like you said, as long as you don't have to worry about changeups, slides, curves... lol then that s*** gets real. I think most of us would have a more difficult time making contact on a good curve ball even with a 1000 tries. then make that impossible if there is 1 pitch on the inner half. We'd all need therapy after some chin music.

    KFC is f***ing addictive! I make my own. Oregano and milk soak is the most important thing to getting it right.

    for people over 50 this is probably true. people over 50 were around before R.I.D.E. was even a big thing. It used to be .8 and if you are at that level most have lost the sense to say, no I really shouldn't have another one. I can remember when I was 20 I had guys call me and ask where their car was parked the next day and I wasn't even out with them... I know a lot of people who should not have been driving. here it's .2 and that means if you have more than one drink you better not drive. most people get caught the day after because they don't realize how long it takes to have the alcohol burn out of their system. The older you get the longer it takes your system to metabolize the alcohol. If I am out drinking I take the bus.

    not making excuses.... but it looked like he lost the ball just a little when it when from the sun into the share. there is a hard line just before the wall works for the jays either way

    I'd keep Barney over Goins. you can't compare to Pompey. Barney is the only infield bench player. I might have kept Goins instead of Tepera or Feldman. any game that is so gone to s*** that you would use Terpera or Feldman... you might as well use Goins or Barney to pitch. I'm more worried about only having 1 infield bench option more than I am about a pinch runner

    Barney isn't a burner but he can also be used in a tight spot if Navarro or Saunders need to be pinch run for. I just hope they dont get stupid and use Stroman to pinch run. Last time he did he had a really awkward slide into second base. He might think he's still an athlete, but he's a pitcher now and isn't as sharp as he used to be running. not worth the risk

    that's not what I take away from that list. I just saw that there was no Thole or Dickey and I'm happy.

    jays had 2 weeks where they couldn't catch, throw or hit, the pitching has been amazing this year. everyone thought it would be the offense that would get them to the post season and it wasn't. The D has been outstanding since the end of the west coast trip. just need the offense to get it's foot on the gas and go. If the jays offense kicks into gear this series will fall the jays way easily, but if the offense doesn't it will be a rough series for the jays.

    I really didn't mind the whole saunders/upton/Smoak DH option. if any of them really suck it will be limited with the changes later in the game. they really need to swap Tulo and Martin. the whole -Pillar-Carrera and then roll over to Travis setup has been very good. Carrera and Pillar have been very clutch the last 10 games.
