    jays have way too many defense only guys on their 40 man roster.

    Reyes can throw if he plants his feet. Problem is his range. he cant get to the ball fast enough to have time to plant and throw. It's not arm accuracy as much as not being in a set position. third base would eliminate most of that. NOT SAYING HE SHOULD MOVE TO THIRD.

    no one got broke. we played 2 sit and go tournaments. $20 per round with 8 guys playing. 100 for first, 40 for second and 20 dollars for third. we got take out and had a couple of beers in between rounds. second time around was always after a few drinks... lol every hand is a winner when your a few drinks in. not a bad saturday with the guys.

    for the next 20 years we will have to hear Jays commentators lick Jeter's balls every time we play the yankees. dude will be the bane of our existence until they throw dirt in our faces.

    I used to have a group of guys over for poker once a month. a couple guys moved, a couple got married and I got tired of being the one who had to call everyone every month to remind them that they were supposed to show up. lol I miss it. it was extra pocket money.

    having a couple buddies over saturday for chili and some whiskey in the evening. haven't been home lately and I need to catch up a little.

    I don't mind them paying for the devil they know. Jays are s***** in developing players so they better be prepared to pay for talent.

    Edwin being out 6 weeks probably cost us a playoff spot. He and Lind make the lineup very hard to pitch through. Bautista didn't see squat the entire time Ed was gone. August really finished the season. We were not that far away this year. I know there are people here who will rage at this, but it's a fact. Not hitting cost the team more games than framing and pitching.

    if Rogers puts down a new turf next year you can push the whole real grass idea back at least 5 years. they wont put in that investment and not use it as long as possible.
