    you'd think a guy like Joba would jump at that kind of offer, but some guys just think there is a better offer in a town they want to play in. Question might be if AA will go back and make another offer once ST starts. If he still hasn't signed in a couple weeks he might have to take what's offered

    it happens all the time. guys will buy guys who have cut themselves in the kitchen plastic knives or put a couple boxes of bandaids in their locker. they are not laughing at the accident itself. they are just poking fun at how it happened and part of it is just dealing with s*** that happens. I'd bet that Izturis has laughed about it himself. of course no one is laughing at the accident or the injury. they are laughing at the situation.

    yes, you were bullied as a child and still haven't gotten over it. Stanton was hit by a ball thrown by someone else, Izturis fell up the stairs.... do I really have to show you hours of Chaplin or 3 Stooges footage to show why you're ridiculous. I already wrote that it wouldn't have been made fun of if it was life threatening. Stanton was a superstar before and after, Izturis was a utility fringe player and was never going to be a superstar.... A man with a broken arm asks his doctor how long until he can play the piano. the doctor replies that he should be able to play in a few weeks. The man smiles and says, GREAT... I've always wanted to play the piano. at this point you are either going out of your way to be argumentative or you're a simpleton with a complete lack of humor. I'd laugh at myself if I fell up the f***ing stairs. You take yourself and this conversation way too seriously. Either way the discussion is over.

    Izturis has laughed about himself. he's a pro athlete how hurt himself walking up the stairs. getting drilled in the head by someone else and hurting yourself doing something mundane are two different things. the fact that you dont understand that is scary and quite sad.

    we could catch a flyer and see an Izturis with a chip on his shoulder trying to prove he can play baseball without hurting himself doing something as simple as walk up the steps in the dugout. lol

    you really dont know much about clubhouse activities. lol It's a bastion for little boys and everything goes. Gibby laughed because it's still funny. falling up the stairs is funny and if you can't understand that you wont understand why he would get hazed. try EBAY for a sense of humor.

    I'm sure Izturis got hazed for it all last season. ball players would never let something like that "slide" you could put in a ramp at his locker so he doesn't hurt himself again.

    yes... you are correct. I was wrong. :-) thanks for helping me with it. I think Izturis has potential to not completely suck. what happened last your was clumsy, but mostly it was a freak accident. He'll have himself in really good shape and ready to play trying to prove he can still play. might be a good thing.

    I'm not in Canada so often, so I just get the best seats I can once I have book a trip to Canada. The kids and I dont mind paying 80 dollars for a good seat. if I was going to more games I'd do it differently.

    please tell me that you're not applying cWAR (clubhouse WAR) to Izturis. I doubt anyone cares what the guy who missed a season falling up the stairs in the dugout has to say.
