    they need about 55 starts from the 4 and 5 starters. Sanchez and Norris cant pitch that many innings. Castro can get his innings limit from the pen. As long as he is getting bullpen sessions working on his secondary pitches it can work out just fine going forward. It would have been nice to have 2 of the three starting in AAA, but Stroman being out for the year changed a lot of the plans.

    I disagree. Jays have a mature core and the Astros have nothing much past their prospects. I'm more worried about what kind of year Reyes will have than I am the rookies. Reyes is eating 23M of the salary(more than a 6th of the total budget) I do agree that the jays are risking a little much counting on so many untested players at the same time, but having 35% of the budget tied up in 2 players means having to use young cost effective alternatives to fill "some" positions. The freak Stroman injury has pushed their hand a little because AA didn't get enough depth in the off season. The Astros are planning on sucking to get a lot of early pics to build on. Buehrle and Reyes are making what the entire Astros team makes.

    I'm allergic to apples but will taking the itching tongue for a granny smith now and then. I might wheeze a little but I'll live with it. lol Bananas are the fruit I eat most. I'm not really a breakfast person but a banana and a glass of OJ get me to dinner. and I only like Cavendish bananas. Luckily the store across the street has them.

    there are so many things that have to fall the jays way for this season not to end up being another.500 year, but you never know so I'll watch 162 jays games like I always do. Add in another couple games every week to see how other teams are doing and I'll have a full dance card for my baseball dance again this year. lol Edit: where are they going to get starts later in the year if Norris and Sanchez are in the rotation in april? neither of those guys can make 25 starts.
