it's funny that people are trying to figure out how to get things to bounce higher at the RC. lol like the the rubber surface hasn't made the place into enough of a bouncy castle already.

not good.... he was just starting to take off again.

part of the down time was from an absolute freak injury. He was a good player with lots of energy. I think most people hated the contract and what was given up in the Miami deal. Tulo contract is the same and for longer. We need to hope he's happy in TO and is reasonably healthy or else his contract will kill us

next week is the week of destiny. 4 against the twins and 3 against NY.

this trade makes lots of sense. AA wanted to move Reyes but needed to replace him with a top line player. This deal accomplishes both. Whether it's a good deal or not will take a couple years to find out.

It's amazing that they could get rid of Reyes... Yes they got Tulo, but AA felt he had to do it and gave up Hoffman to finally get it done. I never said we didn't get something back.

Team is better, but just have not had the pitching, hitting and defense all play well at the same time often enough.

AA has added everything except for pitching. Might be too late to do that this year.

I thought it was interesting to hear that AA tried to do this deal last off season. It was only done once AA added Hoffman to the deal. So Reyes got so bad that AA thought it was better for the team to give up Hoffman to get rid of Reyes.
