I try. People act like it's such a huge fail of a contract extension, but 1MM really doesn't get you that much, certainly not an MLB player. It's a fine risk to take.

Gray and Rondon are quite different indeed. Before I even get into this, what exactly do you mean? Are you saying he's busting? Just to clarify before I make any counter points. Shouldn't have assumed anything from the get-go.

I'm starting to think I may have misinterpreted it. Did he mean "Where is he now" as in Rondon's busting already or "Where is he now" as in Rondon isn't the Tigers' closer and that the media was wrong? I agree with the latter, but if he meant the former..
