    Mike Fast says he cost us like 16 runs from pitch framing, but I dunno, he's looked better this year and we're near the top of expected/actual strikes ratio so I'd think he's improved at least slightly.

    .47 FIP. 15.22 K/9, 1.96 BB/9, good for a 7.75 K/BB ratio. A .242 BABIP isn't even all that bad. The kid is pitching like a stud.

    I feel these kinds of guys - no K's but no walks either - are undervalued. They're not amazing but very serviceable, i.e. Buehrle, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were generally better than guys who K >7.5/9 but walk >4/9. Even with the wind blowing he's still been very good.
