They've stated that they don't use xFIP for WAR because it's predictive, not descriptive, which I tend to agree with. I would like to see an xFIP WAR in the Value section though, it's useful to have a figure on it rather than having to ballpark it in your head. Framing would be nice if they ignored it on a team level so as to not double count in projections. Think Cyborg did that in his projections.

True as well. Weird how fWAR feels kinda outdated sometimes.

fWAR for Dickey is dumn though isn't it? No Dickey effect + ERA is more indicative of his skill because he relies on weak contact through the knuckler. I remember reading about that. Could be wrong. Also have no idea who's point this proves. But I think RA-9 WAR + Dickey effect would be a better method of evaluating Dickey, right?
