    Also Sanchez probably has more market value, based on his higher "ceiling" I guess you could say, and he has an extra year of control on Hendriks (and is younger). Would like to package him with Pillar/Osuna/whatever for a stud if we could.

    I'm good with it. Mitigates the risk of if Hendriks isn't actually much better than he used to be in the rotation, at the cost of some control. Chavez is a nice add. For those that will miss Hendriks, consider his story. He popped up, just like relievers tend to do. Maybe he's a good starter now too but it doesn't hurt to mitigate some of that risk. It's a fair deal for both teams imo
