Hi everybody, my name is Brock Beauchamp and I'm part of an ownership group called DiamondCentric. As you may be able to guess from the name, we only do baseball (or at least I only do baseball).
I'm one of the people who founded TwinsDaily.com about a dozen years ago. As we built that into a really large super-site, my interest in the Twins actually began to wane a bit. I'm still a fan but given that I've lived in many different states in the US, I wanted to explore other fandoms.
That led to me buying BrewerFanatic.com, which was a forum much like this one. Over the past three years, we've built it into a really cool place for Brewers fans to hang out. On top of basic forums to discuss the team, we offer tools to create your own offseason plan, our community votes on prospects to help us build our top prospects rankings, we offer user blogs to all users to practice their own writing and get in front of other fans, and a bunch of other features. We will roll out front page articles/analysis from some *really* good writers. Our managing editor is a FanGraphs alum, Davy Andrews. He's great, you're gonna love his stuff.
One of my favorite parts of the site is the Players Project. It's a wiki-style platform where users can create and edit pages for their favorite players.

One thing I want to stress is that I wanted this community because of all of you. These older team-specific legacy communities have a hard time staying afloat against Twitter, Reddit, et al that tend to squash the little guys. My goal is to prevent that from happening and keep sites like this with their 10+ years of posts and users available for years to come.
So we'll be talking. A LOT. Because you all make this place great and all of you should have your fingerprints on the site and influence how/why decisions are made. In a nutshell, I view myself as the anti-SB Nation. Each site is different with its own personality. All of you make the site what it is and your feedback is really important to making sure the site runs the best it can.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you in the coming weeks!
