dancingmachine Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Why Sanchez didn't hit for Springer is beyond me. Sanchez destroys rhp and Springer couldn't hit a beachball at the moment Stangstag 1
Waylanderz Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 The bullpen has done their job tonight. Just need the offense to get it together! dancingmachine 1

dancingmachine Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Duran lights out closer need some magic here
DownSouthBlueJay Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 We will continue to fail with RISP while Springer and Vladdy are top 3 in our line up
bronson44 Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 We were heavy underdogs but still had our chances. Hope this is just our usual suck in the first game of a series bs that they've been doing Stangstag and Pinkfloid 2
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Didn't expect to win this one based on the matchups pre-game but damn, the offense had so many chances. Not sure what this team's issue is with hitting with RiSP but it's beyond nauseating that almost none of these players seem to be able to get it done when it counts. Maybe Vladdy has failing eyesight and needs some contacts/glasses. He can't see the ball - 3 HRs and no power is pretty inexplicable this far into the season. Stangstag 1
jmomcc Verified Member Posted June 9 Posted June 9 SWR looked pretty good. He might stick as long man in the pen. Miles goes back to one/two inning higher leverage?

A bunch of casual fans already bought up tickets and flex packs, lol. Plus, Torontonians need something to do in the summer, and a Jays game is an easy day or night out - rooftop patios, $20 beers, the whole thing. Maybe in September if the Jays completely fall out of it. But right now, with how weak the AL has been, they’re still only 1.0 game back of the final Wild Card spot and 8.0 games back of the Rays, who have started to struggle a bit themselves. Even with all the Jays’ issues, the season isn’t over by any stretch. Stangstag 1
