Slade Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 03:01 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:01 AM Maybe we owe umpires an apology, our players can't even tell balls and strikes.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 03:01 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:01 AM I'm beginning to think Kirk is the only person on this team who should ever challenge anything. Stangstag 1

Alejandro Murphy Verified Member Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM I’m always hard on Varland last season with those shaky innings but if there is a choice with a gun pointed on my head its a no brainer lets go trading both to get a legitimate closer HAHA jokes I would rather choose Varland when I have to pick one out of two Go Jays ! I know it's still early, but I really haven't been impressed with him so far. He looks clueless out there and has some of the worst agility I've seen at 3B. Heck, even Troy Glaus moved better. Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Never in doubt lol ComeTogether 1
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Take the victory. But Okamoto can't be a Third Base tomorrow. He's not a Third Basemen. jaysblue and Jays24 2

neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted Wednesday at 03:03 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:03 AM Varland closer. It should be official.

It was high leverage with two out, it's was worth a shot especially when you get another challenge if the game continues while in extras. Stangstag 1

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted Wednesday at 03:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:06 AM Why does every win gotta feel so difficult lol Feels lile half our losses so far could’ve gone our way, but also half our wins could’ve gone the other way. This season is giving me heartburn neverbeenhere 1

I'm not ready to go that far but I watch a lot of Japanese baseball and people I follow said he will make the plays hit at him but don't expect anything else. I didn't expect him to have no instincts or feel for the position. They did say 1B was his preferred position.

Tell those people to shove it lol. Still too early to make that statement imo but I dont see what position he can play for us with Vladdy at 1B. He doesnt hit well enough to justify being a full time DH.
DownSouthBlueJay Verified Member Posted Wednesday at 03:07 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:07 AM The thing about Okamoto he's gonna be compared to Bo his entire stint here. Its early but not looking too promising.
