Doug Kassian Verified Member Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Who is the worst Jays regular player? VLAD!!! His best play is to hold the jacket for teammates that actually hit home runs. He is big baby hitter, always whining or quitting during his bats, and has recently started to make "Juan Soto" moves as though he is something special as a batter. He should be removed from this talented team to stop him from dragging them to his pathetic level.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Uh, Vlad has an OPS of .851. Spanky__99, CJ-Freeway, Omar and 1 other 1 3
harvey16 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 Rage baiting at it's finest. Vlad is literally the second best hitter on the team with a .295 avg (2nd), 134 OPS+ (2nd), 4.1 WAR (tied for 1st with Springer), 23 HR (2nd). Only Springer has been better offensively. Sure he's not putting up 2021 numbers but he's far from useless and still have a very solid season despite his recent slump. Spanky__99 and CJ-Freeway 2

BlackCoffee Verified Member Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 I think people just feel that way about Vladdy because he never comes through in clutch situations. He cracks under pressure.

I too noticed the Juan Soto like moves recently. lol He probably picked up Tai Chi and is attempting to incorporate it into his hitting. lol

He cracks under pressure. This is one of those eye test things that fails under scrutiny. Vladdy has been good in close and late and RISP situations in 2025. He has mostly been good over the course of his career as well, with a slight dip in close and late situations, but pretty strong in RISP situations.
