The censor settings are temporary. I need to "clean" the forums of several words before we can be approved for advertising. It's not even the F-word and whatnot that are the problem, but more nefarious words like the N-word and select others. Once I get a better idea of what needs to be done, I can un-censor more common profanity like the F-word.
