The team isn't watchable right now. This has been a really tough stretch of baseball.

What a frustrating game. Started out great and they had several chances to tack on to the lead. Serviceable start from Manoah, but in such an important game you'd hope for more from your #2 starter.

Chapman comes in with bases loaded, 1 out ... all you have to look for is one pitch to drive into the air. He got two straight ones that he just watched.

He then elects to go after the outside pitch and pull it.

That's just dumb af. Not sure what else to say.

Hard to argue by recent performance. Just goes to show how underrated a lot of their players are.

 

They definitely seem like a better balanced roster. A lot of speed, a lot of contact hitters. Put the pressure on the defenses and good things happen.
