Without a doubt. We have said this many times. But it would be a miracle to make the 2nd wildcard now. This team just isn’t that good. They haven’t given much indication they could pull off the streak they need to, while at the same time getting help from others. It’s too bad. I don’t think it gets any easier in 2022.

It was a one-run game with two outs in the sixth. You still have the whole lineup getting one more shot at the O's pen. I just disagree that it was the time to start pulling strings, regardless of the offensive struggles (they did score seven last night).
