Why do you make posts that make you sound like a teenager? You're older than me and I'm old.

That's how I am I guess. Problem?

Three other posters agree with with what I wrote. The crazy ones are the best for f***ing.

Well Jim then there are three other dumbf***s who think just like you that the world is a s***** teenage TV drama. It isn't.

There are no crazy women, or crazy men for that matter, other than those who have a diagnosed mental illness, addiction or PTSD from war, an accident or being raped as a kid or something. And those people need to be dealt with by the appropriate medical professionals. Other than that there is no one I have met that I'd consider crazy. Outgoing, high-energy and gregarious, sure. Stupid, yup. Stubborn, quick to anger, self-centered, sure. And if I have a negative or unfortunate interaction with someone, obviously they're going to have negative reactions to that, as will I. That doesn't make them crazy.

As far as the f***ing is concerned, this is a very stupid generalization. It's all about sexual compatibility and in my experience sexual compatibility has some but not full correlation to personality. I've had bad sexual experiences too and it had nothing to do with the boldness of her personality, we just didn't like the same things.

If you lay there like a dead fish so the chick has to use you like a dildo and get herself off, yeah, eventually she's going to get sick of that and react negatively. And then you interpret that as "crazy". Meanwhile a woman with a lower libido might be able to accept your lack of sexual prowess and just lay there and cuddle and you interpret that as "not crazy" but also not so good in bed.

If you interpret all your good lays as from women who are crazy, then it is YOU with the defect, not 50% of the human population.

You make a lot of assumptions there, buddy. My experience is crazy in the head = wild f***ing. No doubt there are psychological reasons for that, which simply validates what I posted.

You don't have to take obsessive issue with everything I post.

No one knows the reality of your experience because you're probably the most dishonest person on this board, love to be the center of attention and display very narcissistic traits on a regular basis.

For example, I find it hard to believe that you're so attractive that women flock to f*** you despite not being able to converse anywhere other than a quiet room, supposedly. That is assuming you're actually deaf which I'm still 50/50 on since your described experiences do not reflect anything close to the experiences of any deaf people I know (and I live with two, including one who became deaf via an accident).

Tell me about your stereotypes of deaf people Boxy. What should I be like, what kind of experiences should I have?

Do you really believe that all deaf people should fit within your stereotypes, based on the two deaf people you know? Hilarious.

My main stereotype is that deaf people can't hear and speak very poorly if at all. Hearing impaired people can hear very little. There is no chance a deaf guy is striking up a conversation at a bar with some hottie.

Are those stereotypes, or so you have a different definition, like "anyone who pretends they can't hear on the internet for victimhood points"

I believe he is married and has kids but the sexcapades are 100% erotic fan fiction about himself. Total ********.

Either that or he isn't deaf. He's lying about one or the other, or possibly both.

I’m pretty sure Jimbo is in his 60s. Entirely possible that he was pulling 10s back in the 70s and 80s then settled down later in life to have his family. Hearing loss might be recent.

I believe him. Nobody would just lie on the internet about their sexual exploits.

He's stated he was born deaf or yes, I'd grant that to be plausible.

Well, the problem with stereotypes is they don't fit everyone.

I was born profoundly deaf, at age 3 I started wearing a Phillips hearing aid and every shirt I owned had to have a front right pocket for it (behind the ear aids came several years later). I went to regular public school and of course could not understand a word the teacher said. In the early grades managed to get by, poorly, mainly by watching what the other kids do. After grade 4, with a bad report card, my mother said the school thinks you should go to Robarts (one of 3 Ontario schools for the deaf). I of course didn't want to leave my friends. But anyway, and probably out of fear, I improved in Grade 5. Became an A student. Never being able to understand what the teacher said, but there were textbooks. In many respects, I am self taught. High school same thing, A student. On the hockey, volleyball, and football teams. Also worked out in the weight room every other day, ran 10 km the day between. The girls liked me. Went to Western University for engineering, stayed to do a Master's degree. Could never understand with the professors said, but there were textbooks, overheads, etc. 27 years now as a professional engineer.

I actually have an appointment on August 1 regarding cochlear implants.

Your comment about not being able to strike up a conversation with a hottie in a bar is stupid beyond measure. Two people will always find a means to communicate if the desire is there.

edit - just turned 54

edit2 - the sexcapades are all true

edit3 - kid was born when i was 46, married the mom at 48. So had plenty of time to f*** around.

Internet forum moralization is a beautiful thing.

It seems disingenuous to say that people can't use "crazy" without associating it to mental illness. Basically everyone I know says my good buddy is a "crazy f***er", and not in a mental illness kind of way.

Lol yeah ok

The TL;DR of this one is that basically, Jim is the Forrest Gump of deaf people

I mean, nothing about that is implausible. Boils down to "overcame a handicap and become a good student; was also into athletics in school. Got laid a lot when he was younger", doesn't sound particularly outlandish to me.

Yep "I got my masters without ever understanding anything from any of my professors/teachers my entire life" is 100% plausible.

Yep, sure is. Lots of people learn better from reading and doing the work than from lectures. Hell I got a 98% in one of my college courses and I went to 1 lecture and only went to classes when there was a test. I was a garbage student in high school, but graduated college with honours 'cause it was a better learning format for me.

You know Boxy, I'm not the only one to overcome obstacles. There are many other people that have done this.

Your problem is you think, "oh he's deaf, he can't do this, can't do that." And you seem to extend this line of thinking to everything.

Not everything fits within your narrow worldviews.

You're aware that Forrest Gump is not a documentary, correct?

Here's what I think deaf people can't do:

Hear

That's it

Yes, and I'm also aware that nothing of what Jim describes remotely resembles Forrest Gump, so I fail to see your point.

It’s obvious lots of guys ITT have never met a feisty woman, and it’s too late for most of them. Sad!

Jolly good, then. Have you changed your 50/50 odds on my being deaf?

Yes. I'm now about 90% sure you're full of s***

Yes, I can see that you don't see my point but I'm not sure how you're expecting me to cure your gullibility.

You are so judgemental, Boxy. It's one of many character flaws.

I'd rather be judgmental than a habitual liar and narcissist, so there's that.

Glass houses, Jim.
