Notes: Steve Pearce is hitting .357/.424/.964 with five (5) home runs and 12 RBI against J.A. Happ in his career, and owns a .991 OPS against left-handed pitching this season.

LGJ looks really smooth at SS but I would like to see get some starts in CF just so we can start enhancing his versatility and start turning him into a Super Utility player. He looks like he could really cover some ground and has a cannon.

They said he wasn't playing 3rd today because they want to limit how many positions they expose him to initially, while he's also adapting to the majors. Don't expect to see him anywhere other than 2nd and SS this year, unless there's an extended injury.

Ffs is this what baseball has come to now

 

I like the current rule more than the old one, where the ball just had to be shoveled in the direction of the base for it to be an out even if the fielder missed it by a couple feet.
