In fact, a good analogy would be ... a sinker(hard) and splitter(soft) have more drop and less run, whereas a 2 seam fastball(hard) and changeup(soft) have more run, less drop. Though a really good changeup still has a lot of drop

 

This is totally beyond me. I do watch, and I have played (50 years ago) multiple sports. I do know "that the more you know, the more you realize you don't know".
