el duque Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 The Dominican does not know the Jays like fast balls
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 That pitch may have been a strike after the bounce... Doesn't matter. A BALL is a pitch which does not enter the strike zone in flight and is not struck at by the batter. If the pitch touches the ground and bounces through the strike zone it is a “ball.” http://mlb.mlb.com/documents/0/8/0/268272080/2018_Official_Baseball_Rules.pdf Page 140
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Doesn't matter. [/font] I wasn't suggesting that it should have been called a strike, it was more of a humorous observation.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 If Lopez can ever learn to throw strikes consistently he's going to be insane.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Hope we finally learn to hit the other way...gonna need it vs Lopez. Dude couldn't strike anyone out last year or in the Spring....we will lead baseball in Ks for sure
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Lopez did a fantastic job that inning. Hitters couldn't do anything there.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Damn I forgot Wellington Castillo played for the White Sox now
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Good sequence of pitches after falling behind 3-0.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Lopez did a fantastic job that inning. Hitters couldn't do anything there. His stuff is amazing.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Hope we finally learn to hit the other way...gonna need it vs Lopez. Dude couldn't strike anyone out last year or in the Spring....we will lead baseball in Ks for sure Can't wait until Bo and Vlad are here, so we have franchise players who will lead by example in doing just that.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 That is a well manicured beard on Garcia.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 Good s*** Garcia. Yeah he's pitching well!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Blue Jays Team Mexico is stacked this year with Sanchez, Osuna, Estrada, and Garcia
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Lopez is about to have a career night. His stuff looks insane.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I say this so rarely, but this ump appears to be pretty on with the zone so far.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Don't lie, Buck. We can all see that their pitching coach is clearly Michael Moore.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Blue Jays Team Mexico is stacked this year with Sanchez, Osuna, Estrada, and Garcia Sanchez isn't Mexican.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I wonder who will more this year Pillar or Grichuk. Going to be a tough race all season!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Sanchez isn't Mexican. Hes of Mexican descent and was considering pitching for Mexico in the World Baseball Classic...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I wonder who will more this year Pillar or Grichuk. Going to be a tough race all season! For what it's worth at least Grichuk spent the offseason working on trying to improve that.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I can't watch the game with my headphones on. I can hear every single breath Tabler takes.
