Maybe the people in Kansas City have an inferiority complex because according to an article in the Kansas City Star, they claim that Eric Hosmer's slide home to tie Game 5 of the 2015 World Series was a lot better than Josh Donaldson's slide home to win last night. Here is their reason for it.

▪*Donaldson’s won the game, while Hosmer’s tied it and the Royals won in extra innings.

▪*If Donaldson had been thrown out, the game would have continued. If Hosmer was caught, that would have ended the game.

▪*It appears that Donaldson would have been safe even with a better throw from Moreland. Hosmer would have been out if Mets first baseman Lucas Duda makes a better throw. Thus, it’s safe to say that Hosmer was more daring than Donaldson.

▪*The biggest difference: Hosmer’s dash came in the World Series, not round two of the playoffs.

What they don't mention is that Donaldson scored all the way from second base, which was a lot harder than Hosmer scoring from third base.
