nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Gotta do what you gotta do. We need fresh arms. If it was a phony injury then I think it was a bad decision since he could have pitched 2 innings last night and given Tulowitzki a break at SS today. I think that protecting Tulowitzki is more important than bring Loup up who seems to specialize in blowing leads.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Name one fanbase that doesn't do the same thing. There isn't one. But I would say our fan base is especially bad. I don't blame them it's extremely hard to tell sometimes in that bandbox. That Donaldson homerun last night sounded good off the bat it just didn't carry like it would with the roof open. Camera man was left hung out to dry.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 The f***? Why did they take Mccallister out? Missed a few mins, I was on the phone.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 stroman back to being cocky Is he the new Lawrie!?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 The f***? Why did they take Mccallister out? Missed a few mins, I was on the phone. Hes not a starter.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Barney is so good blah blah he's a ball player blah blah.... K
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 That was a good play by Travis, but I think Buck goes overboard in how he calls the plays. Decent 2B's should make that play, it should only be a surprise if it was former Blue Jay Paredes.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Barney is so good blah blah he's a ball player blah blah.... K Lmao, that was awkward
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Estrada moving around pretty gingerly. Probably his sore back.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 What kind of route was that Carrera? Holy f***..
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 wtf are you doing Carrera. Total scrub. lol
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 I've had way more than enough of his goofs in the OF. He wasn't even close on that.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Estrada moving around pretty gingerly. Probably his sore back. The problem with back problems is that it can be treated and will losen up but then be prone to come back.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Big thanks to Estrada's trainer for suggesting that Bruce Lee workout crap and f***ing Marco's back for the year.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 The offence really needs to pick it up.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 Saunders, inside out one to third.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 The problem with back problems is that it can be treated and will losen up but then be prone to come back. Hopefully the AS break can give him some nice cooldown (though he may even make the team, so go figure).
Cyborg Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 The f***? Why did they take Mccallister out? Missed a few mins, I was on the phone. He pitched yesterday. Spot start.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Estrada getting a lot of K's this year. Me likey.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 So just wondering, how's the Leblanc Trade for nothing looking now???
Cyborg Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 So just wondering, how's the Leblanc Trade for nothing looking now??? Inconsequential.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 Hmm.. Estrada is not getting that low strike.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 I've had way more than enough of his goofs in the OF. He wasn't even close on that. It didn't look like a goof; he took the shortest route to the ball and couldn't get to it. I think if it was Saunders or Bautista they would have just chased it down in the corner and everyone would just accept that it was a double. I can't fault Carrera for using his speed to try to get to balls that slower outfielders don't even try for.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Author Posted July 2, 2016 Why try and pull that fastball on the outer half Tulo? Drive it where it's pitched FFS !
