The best fast food burgers in the GTA is Harvey's by a mile for me.

 

Harvey's is so solid. It tastes like a burger you could make at a cookout, I have one near my place in the West End which I love because they're few and far between in the Toronto area unless you go to the hooker Harvey's on Jarvis which no thanks.

South St. is pretty decent if you want a burger that doesn't make you feel like s***. Love grilled pineapple on my burger.

 

I went there once and didn't like it. Tasted like Harvey's but at the price of Five Guys.

 

Big Smoke also sucked.

Have you tried Burger's Priest? I feel like I'd describe their burgers as being kind of buttery tasting...but in a really good way. They're never dry tasting, which I've had happen once or twice at Five Guys. Those two are the ultimate for me.

 

In terms of restaurants, the Keg's burger was pretty gross, one from Milestones also sucked, but the one from the Pickle Barrel is pretty good.

Yeah the Angus is pretty good. I also like being able to see them put the toppings on the burger in front of you so no one every messes up your order.

Theres a place in Calgary called Dragon Lair Burger Co that makes an awesome burger with swiss. Probably my second favourite burger to Five Guys.

Apache Burgers in Etobicoke off Dundas West and Kipling is a really good hidden gem if anyone is ever in the West End, they take cash only though but it's a solid throwback vibe of a burger joint.

That is true, I just don't like hockey/Leafs at all. They did look a lot better after the All-Star break though, they're on the right track moving forward which is good for the fans.
