Usually, pitchers with fastballs that are straighter than your hair, usually don't develop into a #2 or #3. Throw in the lack of command and the inability to handle adversity, you get the makings of a possible #5, a long man or AAA depth.

Seems as though Hutch missed his spots a lot more last year and the hitters made him pay for it. This spring, from the games I have seen him pitch, he hasn't missed over the middle of the plate. His fastball plain is launch ready though. Please don't miss.
